As financial service professionals, we at River Works Credit Union recognize that we are entrusted with sensitive information. We respect the privacy of our members and are committed to treating member information responsibly.
INFORMATION COLLECTION
We collect “nonpublic personal information” about our members from the following sources:
“Nonpublic personal information" is nonpublic information about members that is obtained in connection with providing a financial product or service to our members. Nonpublic personal information includes information regarding your account balance and payment history.
INFORMATION DISCLOSED
The Credit Union only discloses members' information when it is necessary in order to provide them with a service they have requested or to inform them of a service which may be of benefit to them. We do not sell member's information.

To nonaffiliated third parties that perform marketing services on behalf of the Credit Union or to other financial institutions (example: mortgage companies) with whom we have a joint marketing agreement (which, among other things, prohibits further disclosures by such nonaffiliated third parties except in accordance with law).
The information that the Credit Union will share with such nonaffiliated third parties includes the following:

Nonaffiliated third parties and financial institutions to whom we may disclose members nonpublic personal information include the following types of third parties: insurance companies, retailers, and the like.
Members of our Credit Union may elect to keep information from being shares with our business partners by informing us in writing at the Credit Union office, by calling the Credit Union, or by e-mail.
SECURITY PROCEDURES
The Credit Union restricts access to nonpublic personal information about members to those employees who need to know that information in order to provide financial products or services to our members.
The Credit Union maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard nonpublic personal information about members.
MEMBER'S NOTIFICATION
The Credit Union provides its members with a privacy policy at the time the account is opened. Subsequent disclosures are mailed to the entire membership yearly.
